The artificial release of avalanches requires the highest competence and solid know-how. The avalanche patroller of our teams and our customers receive further training on a continuous basis. The close cooperation of our engineers with experts and the involvement in professional circles and associations are the basis for competent consultancy and the successful implementation of projects. The scope of services we offer our customers includes training and support programs for the products and the manufacture of charges.

Biodegradable explosive charges

The launching charges of timber and cardboard decompose without residue. There is neither danger to the environment nor to animals. A collection of residue is not required.

One explosive charge contains 6 lbs. (approx. 2.8 kg) of explosive for avalanche control which is detonated by two blasting caps. The propellant charge consists of gunpowder which is ignited by an electrical safety fuse. Identical explosive charges are used for all three types of Avalanche Guard. The production of the charges is simple and without danger.
