Description

Avalanche safety system "Torrent", Leukerbad, Switzerland

At the Gonustein in the Skiing Area of Torrent, Leukerbad, a stationary avalanche blaster with 2 boxes protects the valley run to Leukerbad. The system is controlled from the office of the person in charge of tracks and rescue in the top station Torrent.

The foundations were prepared by the operator, while Inauen-Schätti AG delivered and installed the equipment.
